This project is provoked by one of my earlier publications (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.mtcomm.2021.102075) from my PhD thesis, where I could deduce a complete report on various parameters and their correlation to leukodepletion efficiency of electrospun filter media.  These information gave me some new insights on engineering ideal membrane designs, choice of suitable membrane materials and surface modifications  for selective leukodepletion of whole blood using electrospun fabrics. This 5 year study will definitely be beneficial to researchers as well as industrialists for developing highly efficient leukodepletion filters
